Guidelines for Kidney Biopsy

1. Patient Evaluation

The decision to perform a kidney biopsy is based on a thorough evaluation of the patient’s:

Biopsy is usually recommended for unexplained decline in kidney function, persistent proteinuria, hematuria, or other abnormalities.

2. Informed Consent

3. Medication Review
