(Prof) Dr. Debabrata Mukherjee have 32 years experience as a Doctor. He is well versed in all aspects of nephrology care including general nephrology, critical care nephrology, living donor transplant, peritoneal dialysis, haemodialysis, plasmapheresis, CRRT and interventional nephrology. Prof Dr. Mukherjee headed the nephrology dept of the three largest hospitals of the Armed Forces. He is also an accredited Professor and examiner in MD Medicine, DM Nephrology & DNB Nephrology. he also has extensive experience in building, establishing and running a nephrology centre.

Interventional Nephrology: I am a fully trained interventional nephrologist and carry out all the following procedures independently.

• Placement of temporary IJV and Subclavian catheters
• Placement of tunneled permanent catheters
• Placement of CAPD catheters by surgical and modified Seldinger techniques
• Creation of forearm arterio venous fistulae
• Diagnostic peripheral venous and arterial angiographies
• Fistulogram and interventional treatment of stenosed AVF &aneurysms
• Renal angiography and angioplasty with stenting

• Head of the Department, Dept of Nephrology & Renal Transplant, at the 1000 Beded Referral Superspeciality Hospital in Lucknow from 2010-2012.
